D.E.L.E.Preparation Course at PUCMM-RSTA

D.E.L.E. means Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera. This Diploma is issued by the Ministry of Education of Spain and offers an official accreditation for citizens of countries where Spanish is not the official language, of the degree of mastery of the Spanish language. This certificate verifies your ability to read, write, speak, and understand Spanish at predetermined levels.

D.E.L.E. is recognized by official institutions of Spanish-speaking
countries and, increasingly, by corporations, chambers of commerce, and educational institutions in the United States. Several American universities award course credit for the diplomas or require them of Spanish majors. The diplomas also carry the Apostille of The Hague, a seal stating the authenticity of internationally recognized documents.

D.E.L.E. is administered by the PUCMM-RSTA in Dominican Republic. Besides the Castillian norm, all varieties of Spanish supported by ample groups of learned speakers are considered valid.

D.E.L.E. has three levels of certification: The Certificado Inicial, the Diploma Intermedio, and Diploma Superior. Applicants for the Diploma Superior must be at least sixteen years of age. The remaining examination date this year is November 14th (for all Levels).

Course for Certificado Inicial
